TestDaF
TestDaF is for people who want to study at a German university. There are four parts: reading, listening, writing, and speaking. At test centres the current form is the digital TestDaF.
How the result is given
Each part comes back as TDN 3, TDN 4, or TDN 5, or as below TDN 3. Many programmes ask for TDN 4 on every part. The figure that matters is the one on that university's page.
Checked against the public pages in October 2026. A centre can change a date, a fee, or a paper, so read the notice before you register.
Surf Language does not run this exam and does not issue its certificate.
