This website
We do not run analytics or ads on this website. Your browser may store the site language and the colour theme so the next visit matches. Word examples use your browser's own speech, and only after you tap.
The learning app
If you create an account you give an email and a password and pick the language you know. We also store the languages you learn, level, daily goal, streak, XP, quiz results, weak spots, and a profile photo if you add one. Light or dark theme can be saved in the app too.
Why we keep it
To run the account, show progress, and let you continue where you left off.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Hosting the site and sending email need some data to work. We do not list extra vendors here that we have not confirmed.
How long
Account data stays while the account exists. You can write to info@surflanguage.com to ask us to delete it.
Your requests
Write to the same address to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to delete an account.
Children
This is a general language-learning product. If you believe a child has an account that should not, write to us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date below.
