be e have
be dice chi è qualcuno o come sta. have dice che cosa qualcuno possiede. Le forme del presente sono irregolari, quindi le impari come un blocco.

- Parla dell'età con be, non con have.
Spiegazione
be
be ha tre forme al presente. I am, spesso I’m. He is, she is e it is. You are, we are e they are. Il pronome you usa are per una persona e per più persone. Una professione usa questo verbo: She is a teacher. Qui il nome del lavoro prende a oppure an.
have
have ha due forme al presente. I have, you have, we have e they have. He has, she has e it has. Usalo per il possesso e la famiglia: I have a brother, She has two cats. La domanda è Do you have a brother? con do, non Have you a brother? nell'inglese moderno di tutti i giorni.
