比较级与最高级

这节课练什么

• 给短形容词加 -er 和 -est。
• 长形容词用 more 和 the most。
• 使用 good 和 bad 的不规则形式。

短形容词

短形容词加-er和-est：tall, taller, the tallest。词尾辅音常常双写：big, bigger, the biggest。词尾-y变成-i：happy, happier, the happiest。比较级用than：Ada is taller than Ben。最高级用the。

长形容词

较长的形容词用more和the most：more beautiful、the most beautiful。不要把两种规律叠在一起。more taller和the most tallest都不对。有些双音节形容词两种都可以，所以本课只取一个明确的短形容词和一个明确的长形容词。

不规则形式

good和bad是不规则的。这一组是good, better, the best和bad, worse, the worst。不要用gooder和more good。比较级后面仍然用than：This book is better than that one。

常见错误

• 最高级需要the：说the tallest。在这个结构里，不要把tallest单独当作短语使用。
• than与比较级搭配，不与最高级搭配。taller than是对的。the tallest than不对。
